It is recommended for customers to arrive at least 90 minutes ahead of their scheduled flight departure. Wait times can vary based on many factors, including season, time of day, weather, etc.

Preparing for Screening

Liquids must be in containers 3.4 ounces or less per item, except for medications and infant and child nourishment. Learn about preparing for liquids.

Customers should also be prepared to remove electronics larger than a cell phone from their baggage and isolate those items in bins for screening. Shoes, jackets and hats must also be removed.

Can it fly?

Certain items may be carried through the checkpoint and onto an aircraft, others must be placed in checked baggage and some cannot fly at all. TSA officers have final discretion as to what can or cannot be taken or placed onto an aircraft. Learn about a specific item.

Identification
