ADA/Accessibility pick-ups remain available on the lower-level curb and should be selected or arranged directly through the provider. The designated lower-level pick-up location can be located by signage or asking airport staff for assistance or accommodations. Instructions to order an accessible ride through each mobile app are below.
UBER: Passengers must search "Accessible" in the mobile app, and the designated pick-up location will appear, notifying the driver of an accessible pick-up.
LYFT: Passengers must physically be located at the lower-level curb (GEO-FENCED) to see the pick-up location appear in their app (i.e. it is not visible from baggage claim or in the terminal). Once the location is selected, the driver will be notified of an ADA pick-up.
TAXIS/ON-DEMAND: Passengers must request an accessible ride in person and curbside staff will dispatch a taxi/on-demand vehicle to pick up the passenger on the lower-level curb. Requests to be picked up at the upper-level curb outside baggage claim or requests for taxis with wheelchair lifts must be made to staff. Drivers will assist passengers with baggage.
If a passenger is unable to navigate to the lower-level curb, the transportation enforcement staff allows pick up on the upper-level curb outside baggage claim. This is specifically for ADA loading spaces; however, ABM staff is directed to take those passengers to the lower-level curb for pick up.
Public Transportation: Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) provides transit service throughout the Dallas metropolitan area and is fully accessible to people who use wheelchairs or motorized scooters.
Car Rentals: With advance notice, most car rental companies provide rental cars equipped with hand controls. Contact your rental car company for further details.
