Safety
Dallas Love Field Airport infrastructure projects are critical to ensure the facilities are safe for its occupants, in good condition, and meet current standards. The project will repair existing water leaks originating from the roof top, and it will upgrade climate control air handling performance of the facility. Fixing the roof mitigates the following: growth of mold and mildew; compromised foundation levels; damage to drywall causing it to sag, buckle or fall apart; energy inefficiencies; and potential fire hazards. Additionally, the project will reduce HVAC maintenance cost.
Purpose
The project will repair existing water leaks originating from the rooftop, upgrade climate control air handling performance of the facility, and upgrade ten (10) rooftop HVAC units; five (5) air handling units; and two (2) boiler units.
Improvements
The project will demolish and install ten (10) rooftop HVAC units; two (2) boiler units, and five (5) air handling units. The responsible contractor will also complete roof layer repairs and replacement.
